About the Event
WE ARE BACK FOR THE LAKES FESTIVAL 2023 WITH OUR CURIOUS CREATORS FLOW WALK!
During The Entrance's 'Light Up The Lake' event, Curious Creators will be showcasing their hand-made costumes!
As they Roam around the festival, you are also invited to join in - hire one of their many 'Flow' Props, such as a silk fan, hula hoop, poi and spin, twirl, play!
Lets all walk, skip, dance, hoop and PLAY! Join us entertaining people & engaging with the music and atmosphere on Saturday November 4th 2023 from 4pm - 8pm!
All ages and abilities welcome. Please register if you are interested!
What we will be doing in our FLOW WALK?
Roaming performers and registered participants will parade around Memorial Park wearing handmade/recycled water themed costumes.
Catch us during The Lakes Festival 'Light Up The Lake' event dancing, flowing, playing and most of all having fun!
We will have items such as hula hoops, silk fans & poi to dance with and share with community members.
Lead Up Costume Making Days!
We also have a bunch of lead up events you can be involved in focing on up-cycling 'Trash' into wearable art, props and costumes in preparation for our Lakes Festival FLOW WALK! ♻️
You will have the option here to begin making your outfit, headpiece and / or prop.
